When used correctly, a solar filter allows you to safely observe the surface of the Sun, including visible sunspots and surface texture. Visibility depends on atmospheric conditions and the optics of your instrument.

This filter uses high-quality optical materials selected for solar observation, balancing clarity, durability, and safe light reduction. The filter is designed for repeated handling and secure mounting when properly sized.

Solar filters must be mounted securely on the front of the instrument before aiming at the Sun. Always inspect the filter before each use and discontinue use if the filter is damaged, loose, or compromised in any way.

Never look at the Sun through an optical device without a properly installed solar filter. This product is intended for solar viewing only when used correctly on compatible instruments.

Measure theoutside diameterof the tube or barrel where the filter will slip on, using a ruler or calipers. Measure across the widest point for accuracy.
