Returns

Return Eligibility

Eligible products may be returned if a return is requested within 30 days of delivery. To qualify, the product must be:

• Unused, uninstalled, and unaltered
• Complete and in its original undamaged packaging
• Accompanied by proof of purchase
• Approved through Seymour Solar before shipment

Approved returns must be shipped within 14 days after return instructions are provided.

How to Start a Return

1. Email info@seymoursolar.com with your order number, name, items being returned, and reason for return.
2. Wait for return authorization and shipping instructions before sending the product.
3. Ship the approved return within 14 days using a trackable and appropriately insured service.

Restocking Fee

A 10% restocking fee applies to non-defective returns and exchanges. The fee is calculated from the price paid for the returned merchandise, before tax.

Returns that do not meet the eligibility requirements may be refused. If Seymour Solar accepts a product that has been opened, installed, used, returned incomplete, damaged, or returned with missing or damaged packaging, a restocking deduction of up to 20% may apply based on the product’s condition and resale value.

Restocking fees do not apply to verified defective products, products damaged in transit, incorrect items shipped by Seymour Solar, or approved warranty claims.

Shipping Costs

• Original shipping charges are nonrefundable.
• If returned merchandise was shipped under a free- or discounted-shipping promotion, the actual outbound shipping cost paid by Seymour Solar for that shipment will be deducted from the refund.
• Customers are responsible for return shipping on non-defective returns and exchanges.
• Returns should be shipped using a trackable and appropriately insured service. Seymour Solar is not responsible for returned products that are lost or damaged before delivery to us.
• Seymour Solar will pay reasonable return shipping costs for verified defective products, products damaged in transit, incorrect items, and approved warranty claims.

Refunds

Refunds are issued after returned products have been received and inspected. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method, less applicable restocking fees and nonrefundable shipping costs. Taxes are adjusted through the original order as required.

Approved refunds are normally processed within 7–10 business days after inspection. Your bank or payment provider may require additional time to post the refund.

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order upon arrival. If an item is defective, damaged, or incorrect, contact us promptly with your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photographs so we can review the claim and make it right.

Exchanges

To exchange a product, return the original item first. Once the return is approved, you may place a new order for the replacement item. The return eligibility, restocking, and shipping terms above apply to non-defective exchanges.

EU, UK, and Other Statutory Consumer Rights

If consumer-protection law in your location provides mandatory withdrawal, cancellation, refund, or warranty rights, those statutory rights take precedence over any conflicting provision of this policy. This includes any required treatment of standard outbound delivery charges, return shipping, restocking deductions, and deductions for diminished value.

Nothing in this policy limits rights that cannot legally be limited.
