🚚 Seymour Solar Shipping Policy
Processing & Fulfillment
All orders ship from Avon, North Carolina, USA.
Orders are typically processed within 2–3 business days. During peak seasons, product launches, or before major solar events, processing times may be longer. Once your order ships, you’ll receive a confirmation email with tracking information.
Please note: Order processing time is separate from shipping transit time.
🇺🇸 U.S. Domestic Shipping
- Domestic orders ship via USPS, UPS, or FedEx.
- Estimated transit time after shipment is typically 2–7 business days, depending on destination and carrier.
- Free standard shipping is available on U.S. orders over $50.
Important: Transit times and delivery dates shown at checkout are estimates unless a shipping service is specifically identified as guaranteed. Carrier delays may occur due to weather, routing issues, volume surges, or other conditions outside our control.
⚡ Expedited Shipping
If you select an expedited shipping option, we will ship your order using the service purchased once the order has been processed.
Expedited shipping applies to transit time only and does not shorten our processing time unless explicitly stated.
Please note that some expedited services provide estimated delivery windows rather than guaranteed delivery dates.
🌍 International Shipping
We ship worldwide using USPS, UPS, or DHL International. Estimated international transit time after shipment is typically 7–21 business days, depending on destination, customs clearance, and local delivery conditions.
International delivery timelines are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
Customs Duties, VAT & Import Taxes
International orders are shipped Delivered at Place (DAP). This means:
- Buyers are responsible for any customs duties, VAT, import taxes, brokerage fees, or other country-specific charges.
- These charges are not included in the product price or shipping cost shown at checkout.
- Local postal authorities or couriers may collect these charges before or upon delivery.
- Seymour Solar cannot mark packages as gifts or under-declare values to avoid taxes.
Example: Customers in Spain and other EU countries may pay VAT plus any applicable customs processing fees.

⏱️ Delivery Issues & Delays
Once a package has been shipped and accepted by the carrier, delivery is handled by the carrier network.
If tracking shows a package is delayed, in transit, or arriving late, please allow additional time for carrier movement and final delivery. Continue to monitor the tracking link provided.
International shipments may also be delayed by customs inspections, destination-country processing, local postal backlogs, weather events, or other conditions outside our control.
If your order appears delayed, contact us at info@seymoursolar.com. If an international package has already entered your destination country, you may also need to contact your local postal authority or final-mile carrier using your tracking number.
📦 Tracking, Address Accuracy & Delivery Responsibility
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout.
Seymour Solar is not responsible for delays caused by incorrect or incomplete addresses, failed delivery attempts, customs processing, weather events, or carrier service disruptions.
If a package is returned because of an address issue, refusal, or failed delivery, any refund or reshipment may be subject to the original shipping cost and any return fees charged to us by the carrier.
🔁 Returns & Refused Deliveries
If a shipment is refused, abandoned, or returned because customs taxes were unpaid, the address was incorrect, or delivery could not be completed, any refund will be issued only after the item is returned to us in good condition.
Refunds in these cases will be issued minus original shipping charges and any return fees, customs charges, or handling costs incurred by Seymour Solar. Please review our Warranty & Returns policy for more information.
