Collection: Spotting Scope Solar Filters

Turn your spotting scope into the ultimate eclipse viewer!  With the correct solar filter, you can use your scope for more than just hunting.  Seymour Solar filters fit directly over the lens of your spotting scope and are secured with nylon thumb screws. Choose from our Helios Solar Glass® or Hyperion Solar Film.  They are both ND5 filters that block 99.999% of the sun's rays for safe eclipse viewing. Our filters come in an array of sizes that will fit any spotting scope.  

**Only install the solar filter on the end of the optical tube closest to the sun.  The filter should always be first in line with the sun.  No sunlight should hit your optical device before it goes through the filter.**
